The application of these types of 20” Manhole Cover is for Fuel Tanker with Bottom Loading System as well as Top Loading.
The Manhole Cover is mounted by 24 bolts on steel fabricated collar, which is welded on topside of Tanker’s shell.
The Fill cap is specially designed to provide higher venting flow of internal pressure when the tanker is exposed to fire situation.
A well-designed Pressure & Vacuum Vent is fitted on the lower side of Fill Cap, which provides pressure releasing, and vacuum breaking. The Vent is designed to close all venting holes to avoid the dangerous spillage in case of Tanker Rollover.
