The microwave level monitor Type LNM is made completely of stainless steel and has been developed for virtually all applications in the foodstuffs and pharmaceuticals field. The levels of even the most difficult media can be determined with its measuring principle.
The microwave field penetrates several millimetres into the medium. Foam, condensate or adhering media residues are not detected by the process. Non conductive media can also be registered by this measuring process. In particular the use of the level monitor is recommended for foaming media, as the foam itself is not detected. Only when the sensor tip is completely covered by the medium will the level monitor be switched on. Thus installation in pipelines and containers is possible regardless of position.

With the Type LZE weld-in coupler the probe provides a hygienically acceptable measuring point with no dead space ( EHEDG Report) . The installation here is virtually flush with the front face. This level sensor is thus best suited for CIP-/ SIP cleaning. A wide variety of adapter couplers is available for different process connections, such as for example Varivent, Milk pipe- and Tri-Clamp adapters, so that the unit can also be fitted into existing systems without problems.

The electronics integrated in the stainless steel head enable direct processing of the sensor signal without an additional analysis unit. The switch signal can thus be passed directly to a PLC for processing.
