STA Port Management is an Malaysian port operator co. SPM is intend to extend her business with proposed new TERMINAL GAS ASLI PENANG ( TEGAP LPG/ LNG Terminal) in Penang Port, Butterworth, to accommodate the delivery and import of oil n LNG from oil producer co. as a re-gasification capacity and System Entry Capacity at the Butterworth Terminal as its first Northern Development Corridor Economy Region( NCER) and ASEAN market offering of terminal access. This SPM proposal will allows TEGAP to implement the Oil/ LNG purchase contracts signed with SOVOIL Co. Ltd. as part of the Oil/ LNG Re-gasification receiving terminal in which SOVOIL will supply and the local player TEGAP is a partner to implement the contract business ( 1.5MMTPA initial capacity) . An option of
A 25 year MOAgreement with SOVOIL Ltd. will see TEGAP Oil LNG Terminal providing re-gasification services to enable SOVOIL to import diesel/ LNG at the TEGAP Terminal and to take delivery of LPG into the ASEAN Lpg/ gas market.
